Choose a speed setting

#The three settings

The priority fee follows Helius's estimate for that market, and never goes past the cap. If Sender does not answer, the same signed trade goes out through your RPC.

WiSP does not publish a speed figure for these settings yet. How fast a trade lands depends on the network at that moment.

#Change it

The setting lives in the terminal header.

1. Open Terminal.
2. In the header, open the menu that reads Speed: Fast and choose Speed: Standard, Speed: Fast or Speed: Faster.

A toast confirms it, for example Speed: Faster. Up to 0.002 SOL extra per trade., or Speed: Standard. Sent through your RPC. The choice is saved in your account and applies to every trade, on Trade and in the terminal. The menu shows once your account is unlocked and trading is open.

Each review sheet shows the cost in its Speed row, for example "Fast · 0.00003 SOL (tip 0.000005 SOL + priority fee 0.000025 SOL), sent through Helius Sender".

#Trades that always go Standard

• Trades in tokens routed through Jupiter.
• The buy that runs right after a new wallet is funded (Review funding and buy).
• Very small sales, where the tip would be a large share. On Fast that is a sale whose least proceeds are under 0.0001 SOL; on Faster, under 0.004 SOL.
• Shielding, funding, withdrawals and returns to the pool. These are pool transactions, not trades.

These sheets have no Speed row.

#If something goes wrong

• "This trade is too large for the speed setting; use Standard". The trade needs more compute than the cap pays for. Switch to Speed: Standard and review again.
