Slippage
Prices move between the moment you review a trade and the moment it lands. Slippage is how far they may move against you before the trade refuses to go through.
On Trade, Max slippage offers 1% (the default), 3% and 5%. The review turns it into a hard number: You receive at least. If the market would give you less, the trade fails on chain and nothing is swapped. You pay only the network fee for the failed attempt.
Use 1% for tokens that trade steadily. New pump.fun launches can move more than that in a second; 3% or 5% fails less often, at the risk of a worse price. Quick buy has its own setting of 3%, 5% or 10%.
The fees on a trade
| Fee | How much | Where on the review |
|---|---|---|
| Platform fee | 0.5% per buy and per sale. 0.25% for 30 days with an invite. 0.40% to 0.10% with a $WiSP tier. The lowest rate you reach applies | Platform fee, with the rate and its reason, for example "0.25%, invite rate" |
| Network fee | Solana's base fee plus a priority fee | Inside Most this wallet can spend; the sale's You receive at least row says it comes out of the wallet |
| Speed tip | Fast: at most 0.00005 SOL. Faster: at most 0.002 SOL. Caps include the priority fee | Speed |
| Token account rent | Paid the first time a wallet holds a token. It comes back when a full sale closes the account | Inside Most this wallet can spend |
| Route accounts | Some Jupiter routes open extra token accounts for the wallet; their rent is not refunded | Route accounts, only when there are any |
| Pool provider fee | 0.006 SOL plus 0.35%, only when a new wallet is funded | Pool provider fee, on a funding review |
On a buy, the platform fee is taken from what you pay. On a sale, it is taken from the least you will receive, so a sale that fills better than that does not pay more.
SOL kept in the wallet
A buy leaves 0.0025 SOL in the wallet (Kept in the wallet for the exit) so the wallet can pay for its sale later. A sale keeps 0.0018 SOL for the same reason. This is not a fee; it goes back to the pool with the wallet's other SOL.
Where the Trade screen shows fees
The rows Minimum received, Platform fee (included) and Network fee on the Trade card fill in only when you use Inspect from any address, a dry run that signs nothing. In the normal flow the figures to read are on the review sheet.
