Agent wallets

Give your AI agent wallets nobody can link to you, funded from your private balance, and connect it with wisp-mcp.

What it is

An agent wallet is a fresh Solana wallet funded from your private balance, like a ready wallet, whose key you hand to an AI agent. Nothing on chain links it to your funding wallet. The most the agent can spend is what you fund it with.

WiSP never trades from an agent wallet, never returns its SOL by itself, and never shows it among your own positions. Take back is the one thing you can still do with it.

Give an agent wallets

  1. Open Keys → Agent wallets and name the agent.
  2. Choose a size and Fund its first wallet. You review and approve the funding, the same pool withdrawal as any wallet.
  3. Fund more wallets the same way, up to five per agent. Each wallet trades one token, so the number of wallets is the number of tokens

the agent can hold at once.

  4. Open Download the agent file, type your password and a passphrase for the agent (12 characters or more, twice), and save the file.

The file holds the keys of every wallet the agent has at that moment, sealed with the passphrase. A later download includes wallets you funded since. An earlier file still opens with its own passphrase: changing the passphrase does not take it back.

Connect your agent

Run wisp-mcp with the file. In Claude Desktop, Cursor or any MCP client:

{ "mcpServers": { "wisp": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "wisp-mcp", "--wallets", "/path/to/wisp-agent-NAME.json", "--rpc", "https://your-rpc"],
  "env": { "WISP_AGENT_PASSPHRASE": "your passphrase" } } } }

The agent can list its wallets, quote, buy (at most 0.1 SOL per buy unless you pass --max-buy), sell, and check what a token's rules allow. It pays the same platform fee as you: 0.5% a side, 30% of which buys back $WiSP.

Take back

Take back on a wallet returns its SOL to your private balance. Tokens it holds stay where they are. The agent still has the key, so it can spend before the take back lands (the plan then fails and nothing moves), and anything sent to the wallet later is the agent's to use. Hand over only what you would give the agent outright.

After a restore, or on another device

Agent wallets live apart from your trading wallets, so a rebuild from your phrase never touches them. Find agent wallets reads them from the chain and lists each one, so you can take its SOL back. Create agent wallets on one device: two devices funding a new agent wallet at the same moment can pick the same one.
