Ready wallets

A ready wallet is funded from your private balance before you pick a token. Quick buy keeps a few loaded; you can also fund one yourself.

The diagram in words

One wallet loads at a time from your private balance. Between one and five stay ready at the size you chose. Each tap on Buy uses one. The next can load from 2 to 8 seconds after the last one started on Private · Instant, or 20 to 60 seconds on other profiles. A wallet you did not use can return to the pool from Positions.

Two ways to get one

  • Quick buy loads them for you. While Quick buy is on and the app is open, it keeps the number you chose loaded, one at a time. See Quick buy.
  • You fund one yourself. On Trade, use Fund a wallet ahead of time with no token, or Fund only · buy $WiSP later (the button names the token on screen). See Fund only, buy later.

Either way, a ready wallet is an ordinary fresh wallet holding SOL from a pool withdrawal of a standard size, with no token yet. Positions shows it as READY, with "0.5 SOL ready" under it. Home counts them under Ready wallets.

How refills are paced

Quick buy loads the first wallet at once. Each later one can start once the previous funding has finished, and no sooner than:

  • on Private · Instant, 2 to 8 seconds after the previous one started;
  • on any other profile, 20 to 60 seconds after it.

The app checks every four seconds, so a load can start a little later.

It does not load while a review is open, while your profile's funding wait after a deposit is running, or while your private balance is below one wallet's size. Each load shows a toast such as "A ready wallet was loaded from your private balance (2/3)." It also stops once it has loaded as many wallets as your buys allow.

Tokens that land in a ready wallet

Strangers often send small amounts of unknown tokens to new wallets. WiSP leaves those alone: a ready wallet with spam tokens in it can still buy. Positions notes them as "Also holds …, sent to this wallet. Sell it through WiSP, or return the SOL and leave it."

Two things do stop a one-tap buy and open the review instead:

  • the wallet already holds the token you are buying ("This ready wallet already holds that token; review the buy");
  • someone sent the wallet SOL, which changes its balance from exactly what its funding delivered ("This ready wallet changed since it was funded; review the buy").

Return an unused ready wallet

  1. Open Positions and expand the READY wallet.
  2. Tap Return to the pool.
  3. Check the sheet and tap Approve and send.

An unused wallet can return at once. The SOL goes back to your private balance, less the network fee.
