Is WiSP a mixer?
WiSP uses a shielded pool to separate the SOL you deposit from the wallets you trade with. It does not run that pool: it is built on Privacy Cash, an existing pool with its own audits. WiSP never holds your funds, and every position is a wallet whose key only you hold. The trades themselves stay public. What the pool cuts is the on-chain link between your deposit and your positions. See How it works.
Is this the same as a vault?
No. In a vault, your tokens sit inside someone else's program and trades happen there. In WiSP, each position is your own Solana wallet holding the token, so you remain the holder of record, and you can open it in any wallet app.
Do I count as a holder?
Yes. Your position wallet holds the token like any other wallet. If a project pays its holders, the position wallet is the holder. That same wallet is public, which is what makes it count.
Who can stop my sell?
Nobody at WiSP. You sign the sale from the wallet that holds the position, and WiSP has no program, admin key or pause switch over it. A token's own issuer may have powers over that token; the review shows them under What the issuer can do. SOL resting in the pool is subject to the pool's own rules. See Security.
Can people see my trades?
Yes. Every buy and sell is a normal public Solana transaction. What they cannot see on chain is that the wallets are yours, or that they belong together. Amounts, timing and your IP can still suggest a link. See What stays private, and what does not.
Who controls my wallets?
You. Every key is derived in your browser from your 24-word recovery phrase. WiSP holds no key, no copy of the phrase and no list of your wallets. You can export any position wallet's key and open it in Phantom without WiSP. See Wallet keys.
Is it in beta? When will trading be enabled?
No, it is not in beta. Trading is live on Solana mainnet now. The client has had a self-audit; a third-party review by ContractWolf is in progress, and no external audit report has been published yet. See Security.
What does it cost?
0.5% per buy and per sale, less with a friend's invite code or with $WiSP. The pool provider charges 0.006 SOL plus 0.35% when a wallet is funded or you withdraw. A full round trip with a 1 SOL position costs about 0.021 SOL. See Fees.
Is there a Telegram bot?
Not for trading. WiSP runs in the browser, so your keys stay on your device. The official Telegram group is @UseWiSP. Its moderation bot does not trade, and no one from WiSP will ask for your phrase, your password or a key.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in a current mobile browser. To shield or withdraw with Phantom on a phone, open WiSP in Phantom's own browser: Browser, then app.usewisp.trade. Each browser keeps its own copy of the account, so start in the browser you will use, or link the others. To use the same account on your computer and your phone, see Two devices.
What happens if WiSP disappears?
Your positions are ordinary Solana wallets; their keys come from your phrase, so you can open them in any wallet app. Your private balance is notes in the Privacy Cash pool, which WiSP does not run. Today the WiSP app is the way to spend those notes, because it does not yet export the pool key.
Why a new wallet for every token?
So that your positions are not linked to you or to each other. A wallet that bought one token tells a watcher nothing about your other trades. See How it works.
Can I trade any token?
Any pump.fun token, and most other Solana tokens through a Jupiter route. A few kinds cannot work and are refused. See Which tokens can I trade?.
