Invite friends

Make an invite link. Friends who use it pay half the platform fee for 30 days, and you receive a share of what they deposit, paid daily in SOL.

On this page
  1. Open Invite (under More).
  2. Under Your invite link, type a code in Choose a code: 3 to 16 lowercase letters or digits. The line under it says whether it is free.
  3. Tap Create my link.

The toast reads Your invite link is ready. The link looks like app.usewisp.trade/?ref=yourcode. Tap the copy button next to it and share it.

The Invite screen with an invite link

What your friend gets

Half the platform fee, 0.25% per side, for the 30 days after they apply your code. They must apply it before their first shield. See Invite codes when you shield.

What you receive

A share of every deposit your friend makes into the pool from the wallet they first shielded with:

  • 0.15% of each deposit in their first 30 days;
  • 0.30% of each deposit after that, for as long as they keep shielding.

That is 30% of the platform fee one round trip of the same amount would pay. It counts whether or not they trade.

Payouts go to your funding address in SOL, once a day at 15:00 UTC, on days you are owed 0.01 SOL or more; smaller amounts carry over. Each payee receives at most 1 SOL a run, and the treasury pays out at most 1 SOL a day in total. Invite shows how many invites are recorded; it does not show amounts yet.

See your totals

On Invite, under your link, tap Show your invite totals. WiSP signs the request with your funding address's key, so only you can see these numbers:

  • Credited to you: everything credited to you so far.
  • Paid to you: what has reached your funding address.
  • On its way: a payout sent and not yet final, when there is one.
  • Owed: credited, not yet paid. It is paid once a day when it reaches 0.01 SOL.
  • Friends counted: friends whose first shield was confirmed on chain.

The totals are counted once a day, and the screen says when. Last payout on Solscan opens the latest payment to you.

If something goes wrong

  • "That code is taken. Try another."
  • "The invite service did not answer. Try again."
